Hello, and welcome back to this week’s broadcast of American Dissident Voices, the Internet radio program of North America’s foremost racialist organization, the National Alliance. I’m your host and the Chairman of the Alliance, Erich Gliebe.
One of the things that has plagued the White Racialist Cause and related causes since the end of the Second World War is that there are never enough Whites who are willing to get on board and make change in society that will benefit our race.
For example, although they weren’t racialists by any means, the conservatives of the McCarthy era were at least brave enough to try to stop the assault on the bedrock of Western Civilization by the Jewish-Communist juggernaut. Ask them about the Jews being mixed up in all kinds of subversive movements and in using their media power to brainwash the American public, and the McCarthy conservatives would snort in derision and call you a Nazi. Ask them about preserving the White race, and they’d roll their eyes and lecture you about their battle NOT being about preserving a race, but rather about preserving a civilization and a system of government.
The McCarthy conservatives were no doubt patriotic in the now-outdated, raceless, American-flag-waving sense – and no doubt they meant well – but their cause was doomed to failure mainly because it wasn’t radical enough. It was too similar to “how things had always been;” too close to the status quo. In other words, it wasn’t really much of anything new and, as a result, it didn’t inspire anyone and it didn’t catch fire in the hearts of large numbers of Americans. Certainly, if the John Birch Society and the other McCarthyists HAD been able to move millions of Whites to effective action, it would have made a bigger impact than it did, but the long-term result would have been exactly what we’ve observed: nothing. And that is because no conservative ideology can possibly pack the punch that our race needs to get back on track, any more than a conservative ideology could have resurrected Germany from the highest inflation rate in history to become the dominant world power that it became in a few short years’ time during the 1930s, as the ideology of National Socialism was able to do.
After fighting to destroy Hitler’s Germany, the American George Lincoln Rockwell began to question the standard party line shortly after the end of the war. Rockwell turned to the first thing that seemed to offer something that was going in a positive direction, and he started out as a John Bircher in the 1950s. He went to meetings with all of the other conservatives, but it didn’t take him long to realize that conservatism was a defensive, limp-wristed ideology that had no hope of being able to channel power into a movement that could revitalize a society. In addition, Rockwell quickly tired of the media Jews using the epithet “Nazi” to turn the masses away from any ideas that might prove useful in reversing the erosion of the West and the destruction of its creators. So Rockwell broke away from the conservatives and decided that the best way to fight the Jews and Communists was to embrace all of their epithets and to NOT deny the accusations of desired violence, in hopes of creating a fanatical movement that could sweep away the Jews. His most well-known group was called the American Nazi Party, and for a while Rockwell also headed up the World Union of National Socialists, a loose international organization that included several great National Socialist thinkers and writers such as Colin Jordan and Savitri Devi.
Rockwell, too, meant well, and – unlike the conservatives – he at least had things straight when it came to race. For Rockwell, there was no question about it: White people must have their own country; no Blacks, no Jews, no non-Whites of any kind. As you can hear in any of his speeches, there is no doubt that he was a passionate man who was more-or-less on target with virtually all of his thinking, including the fact that a radical philosophy was needed to save the sinking boat of the White race. White racialists today still find inspiration in his words and in his unabashed devotion to our people’s welfare.
Unfortunately, Rockwell’s radical ideas were overshadowed by his over-the-top propaganda methods. The street tactics he employed, with brown-shirted marchers and German military music gave most Americans the impression that Rockwell was a bit of a wacko who was trying to ape the National Socialist movement of 1930s Germany. During his many demonstrations, he too often stooped to the level of his enemies – screaming, using racial epithets, and getting hyped up in the heat of argument – much to the delight of those who sought his demise. Much of the sensible thought that Rockwell put into his movement was thereby nullified by imprudent choices with regard to his target audience: the ordinary White American public. And as a result, no mass movement was ever able to develop out of Rockwell’s efforts.
And while Rockwell was, in all seriousness, NOT a wacko, it is an unfortunate truth that an unhealthy fraction of those who joined Rockwell’s group WERE. In addition to men who were reasonable, rational, sincere, and calmly fanatical in their desire to help pull the White race up by its bootstraps, there were others who were unable to see Rockwell’s antics as simply that – antics – and were attracted to the American Nazi Party because of Rockwell’s theatrics. National Alliance founder Dr. William Pierce, who joined Rockwell’s group after resigning from his physics professorship at Oregon State, had decided by the mid-1960s that Rockwell had inadvertently attracted too many crazies for Pierce’s taste. It was while working for Rockwell that Dr. Pierce warned him about keeping one member, John Patler, at a distance. It was at this time, even before Rockwell’s assassination at the hands of the traitor Patler, that Dr. Pierce had decided that he should form his own organization. And that, he did, following Rockwell’s demise.
When Dr. Pierce founded the National Alliance in the early 1970s, he incorporated as much of the good that he had learned from Rockwell and eliminated the bad. He admired Rockwell’s indomitable fighting spirit, which he imbued in his organization and which remains today. He respected Rockwell’s fledgling efforts at a self-consistent ideology, but he realized that it was merely skeletal in structure. So Dr. Pierce spent thousands of hours in thought and in composition, refining and disseminating an idealistic worldview based on a few fundamental principles. That worldview is the one that remains as the guiding star of the National Alliance today; while our tactics may change according to the circumstances, the Alliance’s racialist worldview has remained immutable.
Furthermore, Dr. Pierce latched onto Rockwell’s tactic of reaching out to as wide an audience as possible. But while Rockwell took to the streets as his main avenue of public contact, Dr. Pierce spent more time and money developing as many professional-grade media avenues as he could. He formed a book company, National Vanguard Books, which publishes and sells books, magazines, audio recordings, and many other materials for distribution. Initially, he published a newspaper, Attack!, and then switched his efforts toward National Vanguard magazine. He purchased Resistance Records, which distributes racialist music and merchandise, as well as a magazine, Resistance magazine. Today, we reach out to our kinsfolk through our several Internet sites and through these American Dissident Voices broadcasts. Our members attend gun shows and public gatherings, handing out leaflets and selling literature to as many Whites as we can, all in a non-confrontational and professional manner, in contradiction to the in-your-face methods that Rockwell thought would awaken the White American public.
The good news is that we have come a long way from the days of McCarthy conservatives and their raceless and nebulous ideas about what needed to be done to right things in the civilizations of the West. We have come a long way from Rockwell’s days of screaming racial epithets at Jews and Blacks in hopes of attracting White people to stand up for their people.
Thanks to many White racialist thinkers like William Gayley Simpson, Colin Jordan, Dr. Revilo Oliver, and others, we Whites now know exactly what we are up against and what the future holds for us if we, as a race, shirk our duty. Thanks to Dr. William Pierce, the National Alliance today boasts a consistent and idealistic worldview that can be used as a basis for all decisions regarding our race’s present and future actions. Furthermore, the Alliance has at its disposal a few elements of media that make it easy for those who are moved to take part in their race’s future to find the information and resources they need.
Unfortunately, the one thing that we yet lack is the very thing that all racial or semi-patriotic groups have lacked since the end of the Second World War: a large following of Whites. No matter what has been done, and no matter by whom, large numbers of Whites playing an active role in their race’s fate have eluded an organizing force like the National Alliance. This is, in fact, the biggest problem that we face today: the apathy of the overwhelming majority of our people. Overcome this, and we are well on our way to securing a homogeneous White nation with a White government, which is our immediate goal.
The really annoying fact is that we Whites – collectively – have all of the tools that we need at our disposal. If enough of the right people jump into the Cause with both feet, then our future as a viable and independent race would be just around the corner. But finding the right button to push that will move more of the creative minority of our people has eluded White patriots so far, for more than half a century now.
Exactly WHY our people have not responded to the various attempts to organize them isn’t something we can pinpoint easily. If we could, we would essentially have solved the problem. Aside from the cowardliness of the McCarthy-era conservatives and the outlandish publicity stunts organized by Lincoln Rockwell, there are other factors nurtured by the Jewish media that have helped to keep our race from realizing its potential.
For one thing, the Jews play up the idea that there is something illegal about the White Racialist Cause, which is of course untrue. We in the National Alliance, for one, don’t tolerate illegal activity, which is more than either of the two major political parties can say. But yet the Jews’ media power has enabled them to convince most people that doing something as simple as leafleting a parking lot full of cars with pamphlets carrying a racialist message is illegal.
The media Jews also tell Americans that it is morally wrong to feel a special concern for one’s own race or to act on the behalf of one’s race. Actively OPPOSING one’s race, however, is portrayed as being perfectly moral, despite the obvious fact that promoting the interests of non-Whites serves to – quite literally – kill the White race: through intermarriage, through destruction of our communities, through pollution of White values. Similarly, to doubt the official version of the Holocaust story – a tale which is rife with inconsistency and implausibility – is considered by the sheep to be the lowest form of morality…because the Jewish media have taught them so.
And as if all of that isn’t enough, the Jews continually play the “herd instinct” card. They push the view that “NOBODY believes in that racism garbage anymore,” implying that if YOU do, then you won’t get along with anyone: neighbors, family members, co-workers, and so on.
I needn’t say that all of those tactics used by the media Jews are based on one of the simplest instincts we humans possess: fear. As a general rule, it is because of fear that most Whites refuse to do absolutely anything active to help our race survive our present dire straits.
We need to overcome our fear, individually and collectively. And the best way to do that is to learn and accept that taking an active role in your race’s liberation is THE right thing to do. Being convinced of one’s being-in-the-right has allowed men and women down through history to endure things that passionless men and women shy away from. And in some cases, being convinced of the rightness of one’s cause has helped a person stay true to that cause, even to the point of martyrdom.
When more of us find the passion within ourselves, our race will again be a force to be reckoned with. Don’t settle for a life of quiet mediocrity, a life that leaves no mark behind, a life of silence and inaction and pointlessness. Make your life count, and become a part of the greatest Cause in recorded history.
It can probably be done without you, but is that what you want? To be left out? Together, let’s turn Our Cause into a force that will guide the future of our people.
